A Fast Blast From the Past

My life has been filled with many events and is still pilling up till the day I die.  Going back to the day when my youth was full of good memories and less stressful moments, I believe that my 8th grade year could never be repeated.  It was my second year attending Pierce City schools for middle school and I had made a few friends from the previous year.  I did not know what to expect from that year but from the events that occurred, it would remind me of the better life to this day.  That year I joined basketball for the first time and I didn't do as well as my brother but it was still enjoyable.  The 8th grade field trip to Silver Dollar City blew my mind.  I have been to Silver Dollar City but only with family.  This time, I was with friends who I have accustomed myself with and boy was everything much better.  It was also the year that Michelle and I grew very close to each other.  I tried to get to know her better and everything just seemed great between us.  Too bad it never worked out but I’m not hoping to ever go back to constantly waiting for nothing.  Lambert’s was a great place to eat and it was my first time and only time I have ever eaten there.  Their food blew my mind and since I didn't have to pay for my dinner, it was even more amazing.

  1. I hear ya there my friend, I really do. That trip was amazing, to be able to hang out with your friends and not have to pay for anything, besides your souvenirs. I wish we could have a trip like that for our Senior Trip, just sucks were not going to even have one. It would be nice to have one last get together with our class. Over the years though we have gained many precious memories, so hold yours close Sura because after high school you never know, you might want to look back on them all.

  2. Oh, I remember the 8th grade trip. What a fun time that was. Unfortunately, there was a downpour when we went to Silver Dollar City, but somehow we made the best of it and it was still a blast. You're right, every thing is somehow better when it's free. Sounds like you had fun, Sura.
